AISI 4130 steel is a chromium-molybdenum low-alloy high-strength structural steel widely used in the oil and gas field.
AISI 4130 steel usually has two product performance requirements in the quenched and tempered condition: Minimum yield strength of 60K (414Mpa) and 75K (517Mpa).
Generally speaking, the mainstream level commonly used in onshore wellhead and Christmas tree equipment is 60K and 75K, which can meet the requirements, while for onshore oil and gas wells with higher pressure, it is necessary to select materials that can reach 80K(552Mpa) or above.
