21CrMoV5-11 | 21CrMoV5-7 steel Manufacturer and Exporter,supplied with round,square,flat,block,and shaft etc.

21CrMoV5-7 steel,also refers to DIN 1.7709, is defined as pearlitic heat-resistant steel with high content Cr and Mo as per EN 10269 Standard.While 21CrMoV5-11,with higher Mo content(1%),can be seen as an upgraded version of 21CrMov5-7 steel.

Both of them can work at around 500 degrees for a long time and are mainly used in petrochemical, coal conversion, nuclear power, steam turbine cylinders, thermal power and other occasions with harsh conditions and corrosive media. Main applications: rolls, boilers, reactors, heaters, steam generation device, etc.

  • Initial Forging Temperature:1100℃
  • Final Forging Temperature:850℃
  • Forging Ratio:above 4:1
  • Post-Forging Treatment:21CrMoV5-11 / 21CrMoV5-7 steel,as high Cr-Mo steel, is prone to cracks due to improper cooling after forged,so the recommended method is to arrange annealing heat treatment immediately after forged,the purpose is to slowly cool the material and eliminate the huge internal stress after forging.

The recommended high temperature tempering temperature of 21CrMoV5-11/21CrMoV5-7 steel is 690-710 ℃, air cooling, and the surface hardness of the material after tempering is not greater than 241HB.
